The vice president must make a strong moral statement in favor of natural gas to lift people out of poverty and reduce pollution

According to many environmentalists, fracking is bad. It causes climate change. It poisons the water. And it destroys pristine landscapes. For that reason, Kamala Harris said in a CNN debate while running for president, “There is no question I’m in favor of banning fracking,” and, in February, joined President Joe Biden in pausing approvals of new liquified natural gas export facilities.

And yet, fracking is far more good than bad.
