President Donald Trump last month directed the Pentagon and other federal agencies to identify and release government records regarding “alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters.”
The announcement comes after decades in which government agencies said they were no longer studying the phenomenon.
