After fighting off the British for centuries, Ireland is falling to the globalists in a decade. Emergency Free Speech Fund, Elon Musk, Conor McGregor, and a few independent journalists are the only support the Irish people have. They may take our memes, but they will never take our freedom!

If you think Conor McGregor is some kind of beacon of hope, then you don’t know much about Ireland. He’s an absolute idiot, even if what he says sounds fashionable.

Expand full comment

Why do you say he's an idiot? Your perspective.. ?

He’s a professional at getting hit in the head, need I say more? Ok, he also picked a fight with an old man in his hometown bar and nearly killed him. But maybe he’s a nice guy, I don’t know.

So he took something he’s good at and became filthy rich because he’s so good at it.

And that makes him a moron?

You missed the part where Bono maintained residence in Ireland so he could take advantage of their tax relief schemes for “artists”

Being from Ireland myself I cannot believe they have fallen so fast. The Irish are just too friendly and welcoming!

The "foreign" companies who have taken over the country have totally infiltrated the governments with their big money, though not in taxes, but through "charities" they have funded and by extension the government is funding also.

I heard there were over 33,000 organizations working under the guise of "doing good" for the country and its people, while they have eroded a laid back affable society and molded it to their will. People are not paying attention. These are not the fighters I remember, though most normal people just wanted to live their lives.

I also heard some say they would not mind the police coming into their homes, because they weren't doing any wrong, so it didn't matter, they had nothing to cover up. This is so far from the truth. Mistakes are often made in the heat of the moment and there can always be someone who didn't like what you said, no matter how innocent!

These elites want control over all our lives and how we wish to live - the first amendment (US), is the first amendment for a reason - those freedoms should never be taken away. I am glad this country has them to fight for - many don't.

Please back Ireland against this new form of control - they don't need it, we don't need it - some things are worth fighting and dying for and many before us have done just that.

I had a socialist Irish friend who couldn't wait to throw up on the US..and would tell me the myriad of reasons why we were bad. Then he and his family spent nearly a decade here, made tons of money, continued bashing the States and then sodded back off to Dublin. I was sad about it but not before I was white-hot mad. When the US is gone, Europe will suffer. But it will be too late... they're all idiots.

Thank you for your candid response. You have obviously lived there more recently than I have. Yes they have never really liked the Americans unless they can wezzle money out of then, but even then they still have a large amount of disdain for them, mostly behind their backs. I remember that well. But then again they even have disdain for their neighbors down the road too! They are certainly, as a whole, what I would call - the little people.

We agree on the "governing class" for sure!

Back in the day, I remember many who would speak up and say it like it was, which of course was more socialist, because like so many - they want a free lunch when it suits them. But I can't believe that they want to be taken over and put under the thumb. Give them another pint and keep them happy.

So many Irish in the past have fought and died to be free of the British, now they will have a worse task master and don't realize it.

It is the same everywhere these days - no-one wants to stand out in front of the gun, the good people need to grow a "set". Corruption has always been there, in this tiny island and everywhere else in the world. The elites, including the Obama's, Clinton's, and Biden's just don't feel like they have to hide it anymore and they are winning the war!

Corporations have rumped across Ireland for a free lunch too.. the fault of the governing class with their tax handouts and back door deals.

Money in Ireland has always won the day - the British bought and paid for Northern Ireland so they could keep it and it was a free lunch there for years, don't know if it still is. But of course Clinton fixed that situation and peace reigned... ha.. ha.... not really.

I guess my recollections of Ireland sounded a little on the Polly Anna side, but I remember the "good people", just like the "good people" here and everywhere else - they are the people letting this happen and don't seem to understand the consequences.

Thank you for all your clarifications... I think we are of a same mind.. except RFK probably.... but I don't have any good potential candidates.

Bono - you are right - what talent and what a kind person. He wants to make the world better and has fallen into the trap of giving money to help. At his level I am not sure you can discern what is good and what it not, since everyone wants a piece of that pie and will say anything to get it. Big tech and big pharma don't really want to spend their own money - just use his and others like him.

My family sounds like yours, the media has manipulated nations to their will and have done so for so long, no one actually questions any more. Most of my family will argue a point, but don't understand my fight against renewables, or freedom of speech - it doesn't affect their lives, or at least they don't get to see it, and the wind and solar farms in England are paltry compared to our Texas sized 3,000 - 18,000 acres of devastation. Then there is the ever "climate crisis" we have to address, they are all middle class and need a little virtue signalling to do their part. You just have to love guilt, I didn't get my dose of that! They were all good COVID players too and obeyed the rules... lots of fear worked well. I didn't get so much of that either - or at least I try to control it to my own benefit.

Interesting on Obama - I watched him work his way from the start, and no one believed me that he was running for office - but I thought he would be Hillary's running mate, not out in front. He along with so many others have destroyed this nation, but to me his biggest issue was making the divide between black and white almost to much to navigable. Having lived through the "troubles" I despise that about him. I want someone who can bring people together, not divide, but there again, "divided we fall"... isn't that the idea.

Like you, I want the Irish to wake up, the British and the rest of the world, I am ready for "We the People" to get a grip... and understand what that really means!

These sociopaths are insufferable... people need to start understanding that there is nothing inherently good about government... it must always be kept on a short leash as the worst people are attracted to the potential to gain power and wealth. Let us hope that the Irish are not shy about pushing back against their own government. In the US we need a majority of citizens to denounce their party affiliations and declare fidelity to our Constitution, Bill of Rights and our founding principals; these are the best tools available to us to assure our liberty as a free people and a free nation.

I have long tooted this warning horn. thanks for soing in and the research. I started this when having doubts about the Humane Society of The United States. a so called "charity" for animals I am a dog breeder and AKC judge and the Legislative Liaison for my club which meant to studied bills detrimental to dogs and there owners. now you make think this strange but follow me here.. HSUS runs ads on TV they promote "spay your pet"( think Bob Barker). bills start to show up in various states to make it MANDATORY to castrate your pets ( both sexes) HSUS is in every state capital and in the USA Federal lawmakers offices..a huge part of the bills included .. no knock "inspection" if a complaint was made or if you had "too many dogs" or any other reason to "inspect" your home. animals were seized under very circumspect reasons ( not limited to dogs but ALL animals including livestock that feed us) HSUS lobbied to stop all hunting, stop food production and promote a "vegan" lifestyle to "protect the planet" ( can you say eat the bugs?) and also to force "meatless Mondays" on school children while handing out literature in schools about the danger of eating meat and keeping pets.. PETA is a suit with deodorant.. they almost got a spay /neuter bill passed in CA but at the last minute it failed..due to heavy opposition from people who began to wake up to the Agenda 21 facade but some counties and cities passed the bills .. they of course did not work but they pressed onward using the Alinsky Rules every chance they got. ASPCA etc were also complicit..There are many accounts of seizures of animals ( also known as PROPERTY) but the one I recommend is about the Upton Shepards .. This was my first foray into NGO's that led me here The idea that if you owned an animal you could be suspect and be forced to allow the governmant inot your home unannounced ( or even announced) think about it.. xtop giving $$ to these organizations. dry them up..I ( and others) have brought this the attention of many people. now I an bringing their attention to this.. BEWARE

The police forcefully entering your home & confiscating all electronic devices is what they do to porn traffickers. Think about it - they plan to utilize the exact same enforcement for this made up crime on the general population to humiliate & intimidate individuals & have them be perceived to be as lowly as a pedophile. This is dystopian.

I never really bought into the ‘1984’ thing as a novel.

I couldn’t see how free people (us) would ever give up democracy for a 1984 style society

But I do now

And we are living the precursor

Average politicians and Security Services are anxious to shut down criticism and increase control respectively

Citizens eg the West in Rona or the Israelis now – frightened into Green Lighting draconian measures

Which once passed never come back

I feel naïve for not seeing that humans can be so dark

The one bright light; I see this life as transitory – though a corrupt soul may enjoy a fleeting reward – it ain’t gonna end well.

On C-SPAN. https://www.c-span.org/video/?532251-1/hearing-transnational-repression

Hearing on Transnational Repression

The Senate Foreign Relations Committee held a hearing on foreign governments that repress dissenters abroad with intimidation and violence, and how the U.S. government can more effectively counter this threat. The witnesses were Christo Grozev, a Bulgarian investigative journalist targeted by Russia because of his work; Michael Abramowitz, president of Freedom House; and Caoilfhionn Gallagher, an Irish barrister representing jailed Hong Kong pro-democracy publisher Jimmy Lai. According to Mr. Abramowitz, the top 10 countries that engage in transnational oppression are China, Turkey, Tajikistan, Egypt, Russia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Belarus, and Rwanda--with China responsible for 30% of all cases. Mr. Grozev recommended that the U.S. take a leading role to help coordinate international law enforcement on this issue, saying, “transnational crime must be fought with transnational measures,” a thought that was echoed by Ms. Gallagher.”

Your question about Freedom House had me google the name and I found Abramowitz and their statement.
