This is McCarthyism but there’s something different this time. It’s not just one person driving the fear. The response to this letter is likely to be a doubling down, for now. I suspect it’s the trans kids issue that will eventually and ironically cancel wokism.

What a fantastic, to the point letter, and some very high powered names signed on to it.

Fight the power.

Nice job folks. Letter was spot on

Well, it’s nice to see there’s at least one remaining thing on which Sam Harris and Brett Weinstein can agree.

Can the “not quite so famous, but still very concerned” sign the letter too?

This gives me hope for humanity. All kinds of temperaments, ideologies, experiences, and environments shape people. Some of these people need help psychologically. Some of us have been afraid to get that help for fear of being rejected or disapproved. We need all psychologists to allow for everyone to get help. If Mr. Peterson were the person they want him to be, he wouldn't be a household name. Men, especially, flocked to him for a reason. They deserve mental health services, too.

Peterson has an enormous following and the Canadian thought police are driven by a combination of jealousy and virtue signaling both of which will get them nowhere in the long run.

"including those about ....... climate change, overpopulation, and nuclear power..."

Thank you, Michael. We enthusiastically add our support for the very precise reasons you and the other signatories outlined.
